PAD | PARIS

8-12 APRIL 2026 BOI HQ PARIS, FRANCE

MUSE, a private presentation of art and design objects installed within our Paris based headquarters in the 1st arrondissement during PAD. Conceived as an intimate, appointment-based showcase, MUSE centres on the figure of the muse as a defining force in contemporary design. The curation considers the muse as a point through which objects are conceived, shaped, and ultimately recognised. The question is direct: for whom is this made? Not a demographic, but a specific individual, their posture, their habits, and the way they occupy a room. The presentation departs from conventional exhibition formats. Designed to prioritise attention and proximity, the space allows each work to be encountered within a setting that reflects its intended context, resisting the visual hierarchy of the fair. At the centre of MUSE is Studio Telos, unveiling its inaugural sofa design, System I, with its first iteration developed in response to Bureau of Innovation collaborator and Rick Owens muse Tyrone Dylan. Conceived in response to a specific presence, it positions the muse not simply as inspiration, but as a determining force in the final form of the work.
