YAKIMONO
An antidote to average. Behind the scenes of the high-energy Japanese eating house Yakimono, a detailed strategy developed by BOI set the scene for one of the most anticipated venue launches in Australia. BOI defined and directed the venue's overarching concept, engaging creative specialists’ projects of imagination to develop the iconic Yakimono branding executed on printed collateral & neon signage.
To launch, a strategic digital campaign was developed executed by BOI across social media and web to drive brand awareness and pre-booking. This strategy drove significant interest, driving organic press coverage in major publications ahead of launch, leading Yakimono to become one of the most acclaimed restaurants in Melbourne’s CBD.
In-venue, an extension of the launch activation saw curated artwork with acclaimed artist Tom Blachford, digital NFT exhibitions with Melbourne Art Fair and event collaborations with local floral artist Blossm Bby to create a custom one-off Valentine’s Day store pop-up.
